Once the coil, remote control, headphones and pinpointer are paired, they communicate with each other wirelessly and without latency using the XP patented radio protocol system. This means that the target signals generated by the search coil are quickly transmitted to the headphones without any delay, giving the DEUS II unparalleled speed and accuracy. The DEUS II performs extremely well in all terrain conditions, both on land and at sea, thanks to FMF® (Fast Multi Frequency) technology.

Should you go with the Deus II with the 9" or 11" coil?

9" coil
PROs : Lighter, excellent in the trashy (iron) spots, easy target centering
CONs : Less ground coverage than the 11", slightly less depth on medium/big coins than the 11".

11" coil
PROs : Deeper on big targets ( medium/big coins ) in clean soils, larger ground coverage
CONs : More difficult to separate trash from treasure in iron spots, slightly heavier than the 9".
